Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for Boy Scouts who are residents of Wayne County, Ohio, or who are residents of the Killbuck District, which includes Wayne County and Holmes County). Boy Scouts outside of Wayne County of the Buckeye Council, Boys Scouts of America, may apply, but Wayne County residents shall have priority and shall receive the scholarship first if otherwise qualified. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or already enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students or students at a two-year technical college. Applicants must be full-time students and demonstrate financial need, outstanding community service, and academic achievement. Applicants must have proof of an Eagle Scout rank or Life Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
