Appalachian Scholarship

Beckley Area Foundation

This scholarship is for high school graduates who are from Appalachian coal fields in West Virginia. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll in an engineering program at a technical college or university such as Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech, MIT, Cal Tech, Colorado School of mines, or the engineering schools of Virginia Tech and Texas A&M. Applicants will be selected based on their academic potential. Students who plan to attend an engineering school not listed above must contact the Beckley Area Foundation office to determine whether it is a donor-approved program. Sign Up to Start Applying
