Charles E. Ellis Trust for Girls

This scholarship is for female residents of Philadelphia in grades 9-12 who live in a household where one or both parents are absent, or physically or mentally disabled. It's designed to provide young ladies with the funds necessary to strengthen academic skills or even cover basic school-related needs while in high school. Public and Charter School student applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Independent school applicant deadline is March 1, parochial school deadline is March 15.
