This scholarship fund was established in December 2002 with gifts from Mr. Shoma Hotta and family and the friends of Elsie S. Yoshizawa Hotta. The purpose of the scholarship is to honor the life of Elsie S. Yoshizawa Hotta, beloved wife, mother and grandmother and outstanding and devoted teacher, through scholarship awards for graduates of Baldwin High School interested in teaching.
