Excellence in Accounting Scholarship

New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants

This scholarship is for New York residents who are accounting majors. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to a New York State college or university that offers an accounting program registered by the NY State Education Department as meeting the educational requirements for admission to the CPA exam. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 72 credit hours by the application deadline and 84 by the start of the fall semester. Applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and have FAE Campus Liaison or Department Chair approval prior to submitting an application.. They must also be US citizens or permanent residents.
