James Butler Scholarship

Socorro Independent School District (SISD) Foundation

Multiple scholarships will be awarded in the memory of James Butler, former member of the SISD Special Education Department, and an advocate of a better life for children with disabilities. This scholarship is funded by contributions from the family and friends of James Butler and the SISD Department of Special Education. These scholarships are available to students planning to attend a community college, a 4-year university or a trade/technical school. Applicants must be currently receiving services from the SISD Department of Special Education.
