North Georgia Community Foundation

One award is available to graduating seniors at Gainesville High School who are planning to attend an accredited U.S. institute of higher learning. Applicants can be eligible to attend a two-year junior college, a technical school, or a four year university with preference to those planning to attend either the University of North Georgia or the University of Georgia. Additional selection criteria (in order of priority), include demonstrated financial need, desire, extra-curricular activities, academics (an overall “C” average or better is acceptable).
