Lavenz Memorial Incourage Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating students and recent graduates from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have demonstrated courage, perseverance, and resilience in the face of serious or life-threatening medical adversity during their high school career. Applicants must be graduating seniors or recent graduates force to postpone additional education due to medical hardship. Applicants must be planning to attend a fully accredited college or university in the state of Iowa. Criteria for scholarship selection includes medical or other significant hardship; personal commitment to education goals; use of personal experience to impact other adults affected by similar hardships; and financial need.
