NOVA Scholarships

Nurses Organization of Veterans Affairs (NOVA) Foundation

This scholarship is for current VA employees who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, post-master's, or doctoral program in nursing or a related field. Diploma or associate's degree programs are not eligible. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have positive recommendations from their Academic Program Director/Dean and VA Nurse Executive. Scholarships will be awarded based on career goals, professional and civic activities, academic performance, and recommendations. NOVA membership is not a requirement. Scholarship recipients are obligated to work in VA after receiving the scholarship; see website for more details.
