Pioneer Scholarship

Unity Foundation of LaPorte County

This scholarship is for residents of La Porte County having graduated from any high school serving La Porte County pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited, tax-exempt college or university. Applicants must be a first generation college student &/or a member of a minority population group.

The Pioneer Scholarship was established by Isabelle Peterson, a woman absolutely passionate about the value of education and desiring to make the world a better place. It supports individuals with a “pioneering” attitude who are willing to reach out to achieve dreams and give back to the La Porte County community or anywhere else in the world.
