These scholarships are for high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a US university or high school and must have a minimum 3.2 GPA. To apply, applicants must write an essay responding to the following prompt: "Write about a defining moment in your life in the style of your favorite children's author." Essays must be between 750 and 2,000 words and must include an MLA Works Cited page. Essays will be judged on clarity, grammar, organization, and creativity. Applicants do not need to be US citizens.
