The FF (Firefighter) Denis P. Germain Memorial Scholarship

Created by the family of FF Denis P. Germain to honor the this 33 year-old New York City Firefighter with Ladder 2 who perished on September 11, 2001. Although he spent his working hours in the canyons of Mid-town Manhattan, he spent his free time in the winter on the ski slopes training high school racing teams and actively participated in an annual downhill race at Hunter Mountain for teams of firefighters. This fund provides an annual scholarship to a graduating male and female student at Ramapo High School who is also a member of the Ramapo High School Ski Team.
