Ventura County Community Foundation
Awarded to residents of Ventura County who are graduating from any Ventura County high school and are enrolling full-time at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in the area of liberal arts, humanities, physical or natural science; candidates are not training for specific professions but are pursuing more generalized knowledge. Ineligible majors relate to the professional, vocational, or technical curricula including business, engineering, library science, nursing. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Prior recipients may re-apply for consideration if they continue to meet the other eligibility criteria (enrolled full-time at a 4-year college/university in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in the area of liberal arts, humanities, or physical or natural science with a minimum 3.0 GPA).
