They have all the tools necessary for anyone to be great, all you have to do is take advantage of it. The teachers at AMDA are outstanding, with their extensive knowledge of the industry and their techniques to shape and mold creative, risk-taking performers. The classes provided here give us a thorough education in different areas of the acting field, including stage combat, dance, voice production and speech, acting for the stage vs. acting for the camera, improvisation, and acting techniques from Stanislovski. What's missing from the campus is a nurse or doctor on staff, and real communication between the students and the administration regarding what we'd like our tuition money used for (less useless gadgets, more opportunities for performing or more scholarships!).
