When I visited BCTC to see their campus and find out more about what their professors had to offer me, I quickly realized how much more attention I will receive from the staff here when it comes to my school work. The classes are smaller and the professors are beyond helpful. I am very excited about starting here because I feel more comfortable approaching the faculty.

  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

The school is in the right spot in the right town. Bctc is cheap and affordable for in-state residence. I'm sure going here will be fun.

BCTC is a great place to start your college education! The small class sizes make it a lot easier to learn with 1-on-1 help if needed. Its also a great choice financially.

This is the worst school I have ever been to! Not one single person has any clue what they are talking about. I graduated in December 2017 and its almost April 2018 and I have yet to receive my degree! When I call and ask why no one can give me a straight answer. They tell me to refer to the graduation office, when I do all I get is that it's "processing". I called yesterday and the operator told me that she has has 3 calls today all over the same exact thing. Shouldn't that tell them something???

Great school for the money. Teachers are generally easy to get in touch with and very helpful. They have a great staff, but the admissions and financial aid can get quite confusing if you haven't dealt with them before.

BCTC is a great place to start your higher education experience. It is affordable and a great transition from high school to the college life. There are also greater perks if you are thinking about transferring to UK after two years here!

Bluegrass Community and Technical College is a great option for students that are unsure of their intended major, adult students, students who work full time, or students that need to consider the financial impact of a college education heavily. There are many online classes and the campuses are friendly and easy to navigate. There is also a lot of support for those of us who are just starting out and are not sure how to navigate all of the steps involved with beginning the college journey.

The college is well college to attend, i like the staff they are friendly and very outspoken. When needed you can go to someone and receive advice not just a staff member but a has a friend and be able to reach to them. The classes are comfortable, also the size of the class room isn't huge to the extreme where the teacher cant ear you but on the contrary its the perfect size for you to be able to interact with and the class mates.

The small class sizes at Bluegrass Community and Technical College have helped me create a closer relationship with my professors and a better understanding of classes. I have made a lot of great friends and appreciate the small campus sizes. The only thing I would change would be to add a degree course for an associates degree in my major, American Sign Language Interpreting.

Great value for the money. College credits transfer to the bigger universities without a problem. Great flexibility with scheduling classes so that you can still work and go to school!
