    Advisors are pretty useless, so read the college catalog and go through cunyfirst. You won't regret it when you find classes on video game design, manga and anime, or artificial intelligence. The comment I hear most often is "There's a class for that?!?".

    When coming to Hunter College, one has to be open minded because Hunter is a diverse college with students, faculty and stuff from all over the world. W are a diverse college and respect everyone with all different backgrounds. So, open mindedness is a must :-)

    The counseling program is difficult to get admitted to. It's a great program with a majority of the staff being knowledgeable and cool. The nursing program is extremely hard to get into and very rigorous, but you will most likely land a good job once you graduate from here.
