

St John's University-New York
St. John’s University is a private Catholic university in New York City, in the neighborhood of Queens. The urban, 102-acre campus offers more than 100 degree programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels within six schools and colleges. The university also offers semester-long study abroad programs in Europe, and approximately 40% of students study abroad. Along with the Queens campus, St. John’s has campuses in Manhattan and Staten Island, NY, in Rome, Paris, and Limerick, Ireland; as well as study abroad sites around the world. There are several opportunities for community service, including in the student-run St. John’s Bread and Life Program, which provides support and services for the poor. As a Catholic school, St. John’s hosts mass and Reconciliation services six days per week at the St. Thomas More Church.
