I am in the Schools Honor program and am learning so much from all of my honors and non honors classes. most of my teachers have been very helpful and they all know what they are talking about and are enthusiastic about it. I am also learning a lot about life outside of the classroom here. Central provides a great environment for getting used to living away from home. The RA's and RD's are very helpful if you have room problems or if you just are looking for suggestions about school or activities you should attend I am learning how...

Centra Connecticut State University is an amazing school for commuters and for those who decide to live on campus. The school offers a large variety of programs and tidy abroad opportunities. I am glad I chose this school for my major.

The school is a good combination of a traditional sleep away college and a community college for those who would rather commute and not be a part of a traditional campus lifestyle. However, the Veteran Affairs eduction office is very poor, taking a very long time to certify students. It is also not very communicative with other schools if you are taking classes at other schools that need to be verified as counting toward your degree program. Better be prepared to spend extra phone time and do extra leg work with these people. Brian Ghilliotti

I really enjoyed my freshman year at Central. The school is not as big as I thought it would be. To be completely honest though I would consider it a party school.

CCSU is the absolute worst school I have ever been too. if you want a good education, good police officers, and good food, I suggest never going or sending your children to this god forsaken institution. Absolutely horrible place

The really good dorms on campus are way more expensive than the not so good ones. The expensive ones have air conditioning when it is hot outside and their heating is on point unlike the not so expensive one where they have no air conditioning unit.

CCSU, from my perspective, is the type of school where you have to search to make things happen. There are in fact many clubs at the school but not much advertisement is done so that people could know they exist. On the academic side, the teachers only care if you show that you care.

CCSU impressed me a lot. I loved all of my professors that I had and was glad I took the classes that I did. I really liked the way the curriculum was set up.

Central Connecticut State University is about an 8 out of 10 because, first of all, it is a very small university, so getting to class can be done in less than 6 minutes of walking. Also, this college is one of the cheapest college in the state of Connecticut. Many would think this college is not very fun since there are a lot of commuters, so it is quite empty on weekends.

I love the atmosphere of this campus, you can basically get along with everyone. Since it is a smaller campus you feel a bit more like a family. The classes are challenging but also very interesting. Their music program is also amazing! (future music teacher speaking)
