From what I've seen it's not the best or worst. This year they're pairing up with a new company for the meals and such and should be including more vegetarian options.

dutchess uses sodexo as their food provider, as do most community colleges. while it's not like you're eating food made by a top chef, you can still get some pretty good egg sandwiches and salads. however, there is a small shop right next to the cafeteria entrance on the hudson hall side called the corner cafe. this place is still run by sodexo, but the food is a lot healthier. it has wraps, starbucks coffee (just basic hot coffee), better salads, cheese/pepperoni cups, fruit cups, sushi, bagels, and tea! only downside is that everything in there is a lot more expensive than the cafeteria food, but you are paying for waaay better quality. at the end of the day though, there's a pizza place (a taste of naples) right down the road if you make a left out of the washington parking lot, along with dunkin donuts.

Unless you're a dorm student with a meal plan don't count on the food being too great. The school is located a few miles away from Poughkeepsie and there are tons of restaurants off campus so just go there. They do have an awesome deli on the first floor of Hudson Hall. Other than that the staff in Drumlin Market are rude, the cashiers are slow and the food (other than the pizza which is great), is cold or low quality.

I occasionally buy food from the deli on the bottom floor of Hudson, which is pretty good. I don't buy food from anywhere else on campus.

I have only eaten in the cafeteria a couple of times and it was fine. There is a great deli in one of the buildings too. Everything is always fresh and the price is right.

The cafeteria at Dutchess Community College is well kept and clean. The prices are fair in my opinion and the staff seem to be helpful and nice as well. The food is also very good there, for college food that is. There are many choices, there is a grill for students and teacher to request a sandwich or something, there is a salad bar with a variety of choices. Also in another building, a deli is perched downstairs and they make excellent sandwiches there as well.

The food is good, albeit expensive, and there are a lot of dining options. There is a deli, a Greek style dining area, and a cafeteria with a main lunch that changes daily.

Alpha Gamma Delta (I think) is the only thing they offer. It's more of an honors club for people with a GPA of 3.5 or above. Not a lot of Greek life happening.
