As a small, private, liberal arts college it is expensive. However it is obvious that our tuition is put to good use. Not only does the college pay for off-campus trips and activities on-campus throughout the semester, but it is well-maintained.

Very expensive, however the opportunities make up for it entirely, the professors are very one on one with the students with plenty of opportunities to get help if needed, and the college really tries to make the students feel at home and entertain them when going for their degree.

Hartwick is on the expensive side. They do give out larger scholarships as a result, but as a freshman I was paying a substantial amount more than students who attend a state school.

The school is VERY expensive and a lot of work could be done to improve the residential halls and the buildings. Even though this is true, I feel the professors are, in fact, being paid to help the students. They are very accessible.

Considering that you pay almost 50 thousand dollars a year for Hartwick, you want to get the most out of it. Hartwick does a very good job at doing this. There are many resources that are available to students whenever they need them. The library for example has great staff and many tools you can use. The view of the campus is breath taking and very well groomed.
