Kalamazoo is a small, clean, friendly city that boasts a newly renovated downtown area, filled with lots of good restaurants (Mexican food over there is the best!) and a brand-new open air shopping mall. Each of the positives of the school can be seen as a negative, with the small number of students, the lack of Greek life on campus, and the emphasis on academics. It isn't all bad though, the school does a lot to keep us busy. Every Friday night the Student Activities Committee has a free showing of a popular movie before it is released on DVD. They also have events called Late Night at the Zoo where the student center has popcorn, karaoke, game rooms, board games and other fun things to do.
