Categories Comments Great for these types of students ministry students, individuals looking for a biblical degree or a faith based education.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus bona fide benefit for missons every year, colors of christmas by worship students, and lots of yearly events for students.
What to do for fun suburb of omaha, within 20-30 minutes of some of the best of the midwest. the area is very diverse! there's lots of shopping, entertainment, movie and performance theaters, nearby a large recreation area, and lots more. shadow lake district and coffee shops up the street 5-10 minutes!
Tips for prospective students please please please visit the campus. it may be small, it may be down a dirt road, but neither one of those things keep it from being an amazing school with plenty of opportunities.
In three sentences at nebraska christian college everyone is encouraged and pushed to become a world changer. students get a quality education as well as a lot of opportunities to grow as an individual and christian! very unique school in the way they teach and prepare students!

Categories Comments Campus Safety Because of it's location, there is virtually no traffic other than that from the students themselves. There are curfews, doors locked and it's a small enough campus that everyone knows everyone...like a small town.
Greek Life Not that I'm aware of
Clubs and Activities basketball, and hopefully one day, paintball
Great for these types of students Christian students who want to grow spiritually. Who want to go into ministry based careers or into counseling etc.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Again, it's new, so there aren't really any traditions. It's a great school if you don't mind being one of the first to experience all the things a new school offers. The facilities are all new...that's a big plus.
Bang for the buck Because it's a new campus, there is still a lot of room to grow. Not just building wise, but in all aspects of what you'd expect from a college.
What to do for fun NCC is close to everything. It's set out in what feels like a country setting, but is less than five minutes to tons of stores, restaurants, movies etc.
Food and Dining Food is average cafeteria food, and you're on your own on the weekends. Get ready to eat a lot of boxed mac and cheese or be ready to eat out a lot.
Dorm Life Kind of tight quarters.
Academic Rigor Be prepared to study, hard!
Tips for prospective students Avoid the online courses. Bring your car if you have one. Be prepared to make lifelong friends.
In three sentences The atmosphere is very friendly. The campus is fairly new so there are a few bugs that need worked out. The spiritual environment is refreshing.

Categories Comments Campus Safety We have not had an issue with any crimes on the campus.
Greek Life Greek life is challenging. I am new to Greek this year and it hasn't been easy to learn the new language. Greek is fun and it's rewarding when you invest the time.
Clubs and Activities We have the running club, golf club, and there is many academic clubs and ministries to be a part of.
Great for these types of students The college is great for anyone who loves Christ and have a desire to learn.
Bang for the buck What I like the most is how the teachers interact with the students. The president of the company will sit down and eat lunch with any of the students. He is not scared to get his hands dirty. It's nice to see student camped out on the lawn reading a book a beautiful days. The student can get really crazy but have clean fun.
What to do for fun The college has girls night out, pool, basketball, and running club. Every year you get to go all over the world for ministry week, that's an awesome opportunity. There is so much more the kids do for fun.
Food and Dining The food in my prospective has it's up and down as far as quality and taste. They do provide healthier option. The food for on campus student is included in there tuition so that's nice.
Dorm Life I can't rate dorm life because I am off campus.
Academic Rigor Life in Christ class was my most challenging class because we compared the synoptic gospels. English Composition was secondary because we read at least 7 books and the test were nothing to sneeze on.
Tips for prospective students It is helpful to put all of your assignments from each class on a electronic calender. Do not procrastinate, do your homework. Most of all don't be discourage if you don't get a chance to absorb all that you have learned. The information attained will be there for later use as you become active in the ministry.
In three sentences Nebraska Christian College is an excellent college to learn doctrine truths about God. The professors are spirit filled, fun loving, christian who invest time in their students.

Categories Comments Greek Life Well if you come for four years you will most likely have to take koine Greek!!
Great for these types of students Serious about studying the Bible. Don't mind small campus and knowing everyone.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Just so you know the college is on a gravel road in the country, not in town or city. Every spring the college shuts down for a week so students can go on mission trips.
Bang for the buck This college is worth the money spent if you are sure you will go into vocational ministry.
What to do for fun You have to create your own fun, but there is a pool table and a great parking lot for skating. Very few planned events.
Tips for prospective students Be serious about learning the information, not just making the grade.
In three sentences For students who are serious about vocational ministry. For students who are willing to study hard. For students who appreciate small class size.

Categories Comments Campus Safety definitely safe, and secure.
Greek Life none.
Clubs and Activities basketball, volleyball, and tons of music.
Great for these types of students people seeking god, christians, people who desire to serve god, or get a good education in the bible.
Bang for the buck great education, especially for the small amount you pay compared to other colleges. the one-price tuition is nice, because your tuition stays the same as long as you are on campus and go each year without a break in semesters. watch out for some of the programs though, as with every college, music requires more a semester because of lessons, and choir etc. upfront for the most part though.
What to do for fun go to the movie theater, applebees, hang out. about anything you can think of with it being right outside omaha.
Food and Dining good food, it is catered in, only bad part is you pay for every meal rather you are hear or not, or like that meal. they do their best to give a good variety for each meal though.
Dorm Life pretty good. nice to know everyone and it is safe. no drugs, or alcohol in dorms, at least that i have known in 2 years, and you are not expected to do any crap by other students. new dorms with a bathroom in each room with shower and sink, which is nice.
Academic Rigor challenging, but you definitely learn what you need to know before you graduate. offers some programs that are taught from a new aspect, actually preparing you for ministry not just a teaching role in the church etc.
Tips for prospective students definitely visit the school to see what you think, it is helpful to feel the community aspect and see if you like it. the school is far enough from the city to be in a safe and quiet area, but still close the city.
In three sentences good college, small community, you know everyone. very good education, especially for a smaller college.
