    be smart when it comes to buying books. when you get there try to make as many friends as possible, but more importantly make friends with the upperclassmen in your major. they will have resources that can help you understand material better and maybe even hand me down books. there is a nearby store called textbook brokers. you can sell any books you feel you have no more use for. they're a big help in saving money. some textbooks can be found as pdfs...

    Utilize all resources that you pay for! We have a lot of great resources such as the student health center, student union, campus rec, as well as free transportation that take you to different universities, downtown, the mall, Walmart and other locations.

    NC A&T is actually pretty cheap for me..I was expecting it to be $31,000 but for me it was $12,000 and I'm an out of state student from D.C. with my own health insurance (so that's -$800)
