    It has been a great experience for me and the cost was low compared to 4 year colleges. If you are a student who has pell, a lot of your expenses will be covered by that. Starting out at a community college also helps a lot by getting you transfer scholarships once you move on to the next college.

    The students are really friendly, the teachers encourage communication between students, which helps freshman open up, and not be afraid to talk during class. It also helps creat friendships outside of class time.

    Northeast Texas Community College offers an excellent education that is affordable. The class sizes are small, so the professors have more time to spend with individual students. Tutition is much lower than that of a private school or university.
