Great for these types of students Any Native American wanting to learn more or anyone looking for more background specific to Native American studies. Students looking for attentive teachers who really want to see you succeed.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Northwest Indian College is very traditional in its ways. This is something I really appreciate, but could come off as unusual to some.
Bang for the buck The price is different for Native American students and non-tribal students. I am an enrolled member and so I get a lower price for schooling than non-tribal. The quality of education is really good and the price is just right.

Food and Dining I have gone up to the main campus for food one time. It was a really good experience. I can only imagine the rest of the food is just as good as my experience.
Dorm Life Haven't lived on the main campus before. I am located off site at a branch where housing is not an option. I have heard the options for living on site are very nice though.
Academic Rigor All staff have very high expectations for the students. The bar is set very high, but it is not without help they expect you to reach this standard. All it takes is a little research on your own part and to just simply ask for help; it's everywhere!
Tips for prospective students Apply and figure out if living on campus is something that could fit your lifestyle. Get your application in as soon as possible, so you are able to start when you want to. Once you do your application to the school, do the FAFSA.
In three sentences This school has been great so far. There is so much emphasis put on seeing students succeed and seeing Native Americans prosper. This is the only Native American college in the state of Washington.
