It really depends on the major. We're the cheapest of the three main public universities, and we're still ridiculously expensive. Education is a really great department, as is business.

UCO has one of the lowest tuition rates in the state. You get professors- not TA's. There is always free tutoring- even for upper level classes. There are countless scholarships and fee waivers through the school. Just apply and see what happens. You will get something! We have a really cool transformative learning initiative going on where students get their own online portfolios for job searches, smaller class sizes with novel group activities, field trips, and of course, undergraduate research! I'm telling you- nowhere else will give you all of these opportunities and a certified degree for the price.

You definitely get a good education for the money that you spend. As far as housing goes, I found it to be to pricy for the quality that was provided. That is why I live off campus.

You get what you pay for- and more! I chose UCO for the price and I love it for all the free stuff. Unlike other colleges who charge you Activity Fees and charge entrance fees, everything is actually free at UCO! There are always events on campus and around Edmond, so you should never be bored.
