Visit early, and visit often. Also talk to anyone and everyone, you would be surprised how many friends you can make just by saying hello! Don't be afraid to bug your adviser in email, especially if you have yet to see the college...let them know that you are nervous and need help and they will help you!

Apply early and turn in your FAFSA as soon as possible to acquire the most financial aid. While tuition here is not expensive, it is much easier to attend this campus for almost nothing if you qualify for grants and scholarships. You should look into living on-campus for at least one semester to adjust to the independence of college life.
