There are lots of things to do for fun at the University of Missouri. The atheltics at the univesity are very entertaining, as all of the atheltics are free to attend for students aside from football and men's basketball. There are affordable student passes for football and men's basketballl. There are also many extracurriculars for any student and any hobbie, such as the Coffee Club.

In my opinion the only fun that is at Mizzou is the parties. There are parties Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and sometimes Wednesday it really depends on the frat. BE AWARE FRATS MOSTLY SERVE BEER. At times they do have vodka but not all the time so don't get your hopes up. The blacks are lit always... Homecoming, Halloween, and before Winter Break... oh and the Ice Breaker in the beginning of the semester just to get yo lu loose. But they don't serve alcohol so you might want to pregame before coming to the party. The house parties can be lit.. I mean VERY lit and can provide alcohol and some let you smoke in there. If you are not into parties, well become a Nun... I'm just playing but Mizzou is a work hard, play hard school. Parties are part of the tradition. You don't have to drink in order to have a good time. Being surrounded by friends should be the most important part of havin fun. But, you can just get a study room and turn up with your friends. That can be a lil party right there.

The University of Missouri has the best college rec center in America. It has all types of amenities. It has a gigantic and state of the art weight room, several basketball courts, racket ball, a track, many different pools (one being an Olympic sized pool!!!), they even have a rock wall.

It's a lot to do on campus. I would recommend getting a car though because sometimes it does get boring and you would like to explore Columbia.

There is lots to do for fun, any kind of sports game, there are events offered on the weekends on campus, free or dollar movies every weekend, and even during the week. And since downtown is close you can enjoy a concert or a walk to the ice cream shop.

The campus is basically in downtown Columbia; there are plenty of places to dine in walking distance off campus. There is a theatre, a music lounge, and an art exhibit about a 5 minute walk off campus. The Columbia Mall is also popular to go to here. It's not very big, but there are plenty of places to shop.

Hang out with friends or go see a movie in the Ragtag. Sometimes the film can be a bit weird (120 minutes of random people dancing) but the atmosphere is great. I do not recommend frat parties, they are dirty and sketchy.
