I got involved with the clubs Cru (campus ministry) and Spoon University (articles/videos/photos about food by college students for college students -https://spoonuniversity.com/chapter/unf). There is always weekly movie nights and usually a food related event going at least once every 2 weeks. We also have eco-adventure which has a ropes course, zip-lining,nature trails, kayaking and canoing. There are also various events throughout the semester put on by various groups and organizations.

Sitting in front of the lake is extremely relaxing especially with the sun set. You can also go to the nature trails with a friend which is peaceful as well. The campus also has different types of activities planned for throughout the year to participate in.

The frat parties every week can be fun but a little over done. Sometimes I go weeks without going to a party and I enjoy just being with my friends. I'll drive to St. Augustine sometimes or Amelia Island for the beach. There is a beach in Jacksonville but it's nice to get out sometimes.

The nature trails offer fun ways to relax after a hard week at class. Eco-adventure offers SUP, kayak, canoe, camping gear, and more to rent for the day or a week--all free with student ID. Bass-fishing on campus is also absolutely fine! Many other colleges and universities don't have lakes or ponds on campus to fish in.

There's a multitude of things you can do for fun, from going to the beach, which is only about 10 mins away from campus, to relaxing on the school's green, game room, where they generally have the latest games for you to play, recreational activities like intramural sports, and various other things of different interest.

Enjoy Ogier Garden, the wildlife (including the geese that love our campus so much they turn the sidewalks green), the various lakes, the on-campus get-togethers, etc.
