This college is cheaper than some of the other private colleges in the area and they are able to offer scholarships depending on each individuals needs. Laundry service is free to the students at St. Thomas, unlike some other colleges where the students have to pay. The parking garage has several spaces for parking and the fee for parking is reasonable compared to other colleges.

It is a very expensive school, no doubt. However, the interactions between teacher and student and the education in itself really makes it worth it all.

If you are lucky enough to live close enough to commute, yes you get your money's worth! If you have to live on campus..I'm not so sure. If you break it down, you are paying a $1,000+ a month..to share a small space with a stranger..and eat fatty foods. It's around $8,000 a year! I spent $200 this semester at home! So, if you can, try to avoid living on campus...unless you have the money for it. The university is amazing in terms of rigor, so as long as you watch your finances, you should get your investment in your education returned in no time!
