Washington & Jefferson College was founded as three log cabin schools in 1781. It is a private liberal arts college that provides a curriculum focused on preparing students to go on to professional and graduate schools. The school offers a large study abroad program that can take students to many countries including, South Africa, Germany, China, Australia, and France. The school offers an On-Time Graduation guarantee that states that students who meet the institution’s academic expectations and do not graduate in time will receive one year of free tuition.
