Founded by a traveling evangelist, Bob Jones University is an Evangelical Christian institution located in western South Carolina. BJU confers undergrad degrees in over 60 academic majors featuring a combination of liberal arts and Bible classes. As a Christian institution, students are required to attend BJU chapel services four days per week as well as two additional church services outside of the university.
