Room and Board
The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. California Baptist University is a school that takes a lot of pride in being excellent at everything that it has control over. This ranges from academics to athletics and everything in between. However, the greatest thing about CBU is the focus on community life here; I've never been to another school that's comparable in student life affairs!

CBU is the place to be if you are looking for a smaller, community-oriented, and serious academic school. CBU's motto is Live your purpose. If you don't know what your life purpose is yet, CBU might just be the place to discover it!

One of the best decisions I have ever made was the decision to attend college at Cal Baptist University. My overall experience has been amazing. Coming from a small private Christian high school, CBU is the perfect size school for my college education journey currently with approximately 9000 students.
