With campus a short drive from the Atlantic Ocean, Coastal Carolina University is a 4-year public liberal arts institution in South Carolina. CCU confers bachelor’s degrees in 74 academic areas of study. In addition to the academic facilities on its main campus, CCU oversees a Center for Marine and Wetland Studies and a marine science natural laboratory on Waties Island. For sports fans, Coastal Carolina fields 16 men’s and women’s sports teams known as the Chanticleers and the baseball team makes frequent appearances in the College World Series.

coastal carolina is an excellet school, it has a pretty good science program. although biochemistry is a new major here, the science departments are pretty fond of this major. the science departments has a good tutoring program
