Out of the cafeteria and down the street are a variety of American and Mexican restaurants.
Veronica from Fayetteville, GA
The food in the cafe is delicious! A little pricy but you get what you pay for.

There is a strip named Walnut avenue and that is about all the fun that is near by. There are restaurants, movie theaters, and bowling alleys. However most people from this area drive the thirty minute drive up to Chattanooga Tennessee to have fun!
Meaghan from Cohutta, GA
Food varies for all types of people. They offer healthy foods for those who like to watch what they eat which is great. They also offer good food that isn't horrible like typical school lunches. They even have snacks like fruit bowls which I love! Coffee is also delicious. I love the food.
Michelle from Dalton, GA
I did not partake in their meal plan since I was a commuter, but the dining hall seemed nice as I passed by.
Andrew from Epworth, GA
The food is great!! Period!
Melanie from Calhoun, GA
The food here at Dalton State is very good. The cafeteria is called the Roadrunner Cafe. We get our food from the Oakwood Cafe, which is an excellent restaurant in downtown Dalton. The prices are also reasonable, which is good for a broke college student! We do not have seats in the cafeteria to eat, but many students sit outside at the tables when the weather is nice, or sit inside in the pope student center, where the cafeteria is located. There are tables to sit at and even couches.
