Independence Community College is a 2-year institution with two campuses in southeast Kansas offering 35 associate degrees and 11 certificates. ICC’s theater arts program provides more classroom interaction with guest artists than any other Kansas college and is home to the William Inge Center for the Arts. Every spring, the Center hosts the four day William Inge Theater Festival. Besides its renowned performing arts center, the ICC campus features several other facilities for hands-on learning and recreation including an observatory and disc golf course.
