Madison, TN, USA
Affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia is a graduate-level medical school specializing in training nurse anesthetists. As the only independent anesthesia training academy in the United States, MTSA offers a 3-year Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree program. Following a first semester of online courses, all subsequent semesters require students to move to middle Tennessee for subsequent classwork and a third-year residency. Every winter, MTSA hosts an annual celebration and recognition of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist profession known as CRNA Week.
