Midwives College of Utah

Salt Lake City, UT, USA

Based out of Salt Lake City, the Midwives College of Utah is an online midwife training academy and one of the largest out-of-hospital midwifery schools in the United States. MCU’s Midwifery program confers associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. In addition to online coursework, MCU also employs a number of midwives throughout the country as field faculty to oversee clinical experience for students. To provide additional academic support and create a sense of community, all online students are grouped into “houses” and provided a “house mother” to guide them through their classes and training.
