Northeastern Illinois University is a public, Hispanic-Serving Institution located in Chicago, Illinois. NEIU offers a Tuition Guarantee Program for all students up to six years. The school is home to the longest running community radio station in Chicago, known as WZRD Chicago 88.3 FM. The university offers a transition program for high school students that lasts six weeks and consists of workshops, classes, counseling, and recreational activities.
Northeastern has a very comfortable environment. Teachers that you don't even have will ask you about your day and classes, they'll even offer any help that you would need. As well with the students, everyone is very talkative and welcoming.

I love Northeastern Illinois, especially the Carruthers Center for Inner-City Studies (CCICS) (The Center). This campus is located in the historical community of Bronzeville on the South Side of Chicago. The main campus is ok, but it doesn't in my opinion touch the CCICS information and history wise, just my opinion.
