Originally founded as a land-grant university in 1870, Ohio State University is a public institution in Columbus and the third-largest campus in the nation. OSU confers bachelor’s degrees in over 200 academic fields of study. In addition to classroom facilities, the OSU campus is home to the Wexner Center for the Arts, a lab setting for the study and performance of contemporary art. For sports fans, the Ohio State Buckeyes routinely draw over 100,000 fans to “The Horseshoe” and every game is marked by a performance of the university marching band known as "The Best Damn Band in the Land."
Ohio State was originally the last school I wanted to go to, just because I lived so close and the size was so intimidating. However, after my college tour I fell in love and now it is home. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else and can't imagine going to any other college.

There is no other place I would have chosen to pursue my higher education. Ohio State offers rigorous academics as well as plenty of organizations for students to participate in! In short, Ohio State offers everything you could ever want.
