Originally founded as a land-grant university in 1870, Ohio State University is a public institution in Columbus and the third-largest campus in the nation. OSU confers bachelor’s degrees in over 200 academic fields of study. In addition to classroom facilities, the OSU campus is home to the Wexner Center for the Arts, a lab setting for the study and performance of contemporary art. For sports fans, the Ohio State Buckeyes routinely draw over 100,000 fans to “The Horseshoe” and every game is marked by a performance of the university marching band known as "The Best Damn Band in the Land."
Ohio State is it's own small world. Once you get involved, which is a must, you cannot walk across campus without seeing someone you know. From academics to sports, Ohio State is an excellent school with long standing tradition.

The Ohio State University is a place with endless opportunities for any student in any major. Our diversity, campus atmosphere, traditions, and Buckeye pride will make you feel like a part of something much bigger than yourself. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
