Am learning a lot
The teachers are really interested in your learning. So if you ask questions they will give you the best and detailed answer. They will be available to you at every hour so you could ask them questions about the homework or any problem you might have.
Am enjoying being here
You will enjoy being here because you will feel in family. Everyone in campus will make you feel like you have known them for a long time and like you belong. Everyone is friendly so you will enjoy being here and that will make your school work easier to do.
Bang for the buck
The money issue isnt too bad, you can get enough money from scholarships to make the budget.
Tips for prospective students
If you are looking for a four year school that is not big and is worth studing at you hould choose Rockford College. It is friendly and education oriented, it is not hard to get accepted you just need to have good grades and a average ACT score.
Great for these types of students
It is good for students that like to work in a friendly environment. If you like to work in class rooms that are not huge and one on one teacher student class sessions.

Rockford is a very clean, respectful, and comfortable campus. The transition to college life was very easy because of the friendly campus personnel. The athletic programs are awesome here at Rockford.
Tips for prospective students
Contact your admissions counselor early - they are awesome and will help you every step of the way. If you are going to be involved in any type of extra curricular activity contact the coach or person responsible for the club early and get yourself prepared. Keep your grade point average up!!! Retake your ACT's as many times as you need to so you can get a high grade!! Very important.
Academic Rigor
I signed up for my classes early - I have an excellent class schedule - I am taking all core classes at this time, but my schedule allows me enough time to get my homework done, study, and play football. The classrooms are perfect size - instructor to student ratio is like 11 - 1.
Dorm Life
I love it! I suggest looking at all the types of rooms available -- the campus is nice and small so that you are not lost in the shuffle. Everything is within walking distance from my dorm. I really like these dorms when compared to the other campuses I was looking at!!!
Food and Dining
Very close - very good. Not Mom and Dad's cooking but it is very good and you never go hungry!!!
What to do for fun
We hang out - play video games -- walk around sometimes, play frisbee golf, play football, basketball, etc.. it is a nice small campus so you will get to know everyone very fast.
Bang for the buck
I think they were a little more expensive than some others I looked at but I was sold when I met the football coach and my admissions counselor. The nicest people ever!! One of the reasons I chose this campus is because it is set back - it is not in the middle of a town where you are fighting traffic or crossing across city streets to get to your buildings - when you pull into Rockford it is because you are there for the college -- there isn't any other reason to be there!!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
There is a haunted building!!! It's cool.
Great for these types of students
All types - athletics -- football program is GREAT!! The theatre group looks like it has a lot to offer -- great for students who do not like the big crowd -- it is laid back and it is for students who do not want to be just a student number -- here you walk through campus and the people that work there actually know your name!
Clubs and Activities
Too many to mention -- you have a lot to choose from!
Greek Life
We do need to start a fraternity
Campus Safety
Excellent -- the campus is by itself and not in the middle of town so the campus security patrols 24/7 - makes you feel very safe!!

awesome atmosphere. exceptional staff. perfect for small town kids like myself!
Tips for prospective students
talk to the teachers!! take the tour! and ask lots of questions!!! the admissions staff is extremely friendly and are willing to answer your every question-no matter how trivial it seems!
Academic Rigor
the classes here are perfect for the small class size learner. personally i have a harder time learning in a big group setting. the classes themselves are designed to help you succeed while also challenging your abilities
Dorm Life
the dorms where a tad bit small but it's also a small school with few students actually living on campus.
Food and Dining
being a vegetarian, i'd have hoped a liberal arts college would have catered to my kind more but overall there menus are decent sized and the food cards give you (i think) 3 meals a day.
What to do for fun
rockford is huge!!! and if the city around it wasn't enough, rc has a lot of clubs and even just hanging out with the awesome students is entertaining.
Bang for the buck
totally worth every cent.
Great for these types of students
small class learners and small school lovers.
Clubs and Activities
they have so many clubs and extras! from yoga to the alternative spring break, you'll never run out of stuff to do! plus they are advocates of students starting and running their own new clubs.
Campus Safety
cs is in place but litterally may be used once or twice a year according to the tour guide(he said usually when they are needed its because a freshman got lost(: )
