Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is a private, 4-year institution established in Lakewood, Colorado. Students have the opportunity to apply for one of 12 studio spaces, which offer students room to work and occasional one-on-one visits from professionals. As an art school, RMCAD is home to a number of galleries, the Philip J. Steele Gallery, Student Gallery, Alumni Gallery, Rotunda Gallery, and the Rude Gallery, the last of which offers a unique, intimate space for small-scale shows. All of RMCAD’s galleries hold exhibitions, award ceremonies, and more.
