Southeast Missouri State University is a large, public institution located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Cape Girardeau. The school operates three regional campuses around the state in Sikeston, Malden, and Kennett. SEMO offers study abroad opportunities from two weeks to a whole year in places like Mexico, Algeria, Sweden, and Finland. Most students choose to study liberal arts and humanities, biology, or communications.
Southeast Missouri State University is a small campus, but it offers a lot. There are many activities for students here and the activities are either free or cost little to nothing. The staff and faculty are friendly and will speak to all students.
