Founded in 1850, Waynesburg University is a private school situated in the hills of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. It is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and prides itself on being a “good value” school with tuition, room, and board priced below the national average. Waynesburg is home to the Paul R. Stewart Museum which houses Native American artifacts, fossils, mineral specimens, and more. Many students participate in community service, and WU offers service learning classes which can be turned into a Service Leadership Minor.
A Christian-based campus with a challenging and aspiring mission to allow students to grow in their beliefs and dreams. This campus has a small-town life feel with very little to do off campus, though big cities are short drives away. This school has won my heart and allowed me to grow so much in my short time there.
