Affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Wingate University is a Christian institution with a main campus and two satellite locations in southern North Carolina. Wingate confers bachelor’s degrees in 30 fields of study. For students who wish to experience a foreign culture, Wingate offers numerous study abroad initiatives through the W’International Program and students camp out overnight to ensure their choice of destinations. As a Christian university, Wingate holds regular chapel as well as weekly inter-denominational student-led Common Ground services.
