Georgia is located in the southern region of the US and is otherwise known as the “Peach State.” The capital, Atlanta, is an integral cog in the global economic system and is home to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest airport. The Peach State claims one of the three oldest public universities, the University of Georgia, having been the first created by state charter in 1785.
