Jacqueline from Alma, AR
Don't be afraid to ask someone a question, they don't bite!
Tyler
Do not be afraid to make friends, just start talking and people will respond.
Kaylie from Altus, AR
Get involved! A great way to meet new people is to be a part of something. There are tons of activities to do if you just put yourself out there.
Surani from Dover, AR
Come along. Arkansas Tech has a wide variety of majors and scholarship assistance.
George Clark
Think about what you want to study and get to know the professors i that department. You will be working with these people a lot near the end of your degree program.
Morgan from Russellville, AR
My best tip for any student attending ATU would be to buy a good pair of rain boots, the campus tends to flood when it rains. Also, get to know some of the upperclassmen in your field of study that way you can find out what kind of classes you need and what the teachers are like.
Christina from Russellville, AR
If you don't know something, ask. Anyone walking on the sidewalk is usually friendly in their own way.
Do not expect college to be like high school. Be open to new people and new ideas.
Hanna from Dover, AR
I would get ready to live in a dorm and have to share stuff with your roommate. I would also get good study habits started.
Heather from Clinton, AR
Take it seriously, this is an enormous leap from high school. This will determine the rest of your life. But do not take this time for granted, make sure to get out and have fun!
Ryan from Vilonia, AR
