Situated on a hilltop overlooking the Ozark Mountains, the University of Arkansas is the flagship campus of the UA system and the largest university in the state. Arkansas is home to six colleges and schools hosting undergraduate degree-granting programs. Affiliated with Arkansas Research and Technology Park, UA houses the National Center for Reliable Power Transmission—the strongest power testing facility at any university in the US. Throughout the year, Arkansas brings a number of prominent leaders and thinkers to campus through the Distinguished Lecture Series.
The University of Arkansas has exactly what everyone should want from their college experience. It offers a quality education, a lively and beautiful atmosphere, and endless opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Regardless of who you are or where you come from, there is certainly something for everyone at the U of A.

My visits and experiences with the University of Arkansas have been quite positive; the staff and teachers are helpful, and classes are fairly small. The student life has something for everyone; over a hundred clubs and sports make sure no one is left out. With the exception of all of the hills, the landscaping and general atmosphere of the university are beautiful and upbeat.
