The Campus is absolutely gorgeous, and seems like a nice place to live. They offer many majors, and even if your intended major is not on the list they'll try to make one for you. Everyone on the campus is very helpful and nice.

I did not like carthage because due to the backyard being the lake it is very secluded. Carthage has great professors, but i do not feel pushed to my fullest potential most of the time. Carthage College is not what i expected it to be.

a small campus with a close-knit community, but rather homogeneous in terms of diversity. the professors are caring, and most students are interested in their major and extracurriculars. seeing the lake every day never fails to take your breath away.

If you're looking for a small campus, this school would be a perfect fit. Besides the campus itself, the professors actually take time out to really know about you and to see how that particular class fits with your major(s)/minor(s).With a small classroom setting it's very easy to express your opinions on the subjects.

Carthage College is an extraordinary college providing extraordinary experiences. As a freshman I'm able to play competitive athletics in first rate athletic facilities, conduct research in biology, and travel abroad, while getting to know great people, enjoying good food, feeling safe, and having profesors that really care; I can't imagine going anywhere else; I definitely made the right choice!
