Fort Valley State University is a public HBCU and part of the University System of Georgia. It is a land-grant research institution and member of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. FVSU offers study abroad programs in places such as Ghana, Senegal, Brazil, Great Britain, and Belize. The school is home to the only Cooperative Developmental Energy Program and Georgia's only certified veterinary technology program.

I personally love FVSU. Its a great school to go for a great start at college life as well as to adjust to the real world. Fort Valley State University has all types of great teachers, majors, as well as campus life to me this is a great all around school.
